Are you ready for your writing to soar?

Thank you for your emails and comments yesterday. It was so great to hear from you. I understand that the writing struggle is real, that some of you are really feeling the weight of wanting your creativity to come out and soar.

We’ve spent the last few weeks talking about finding a place where you can belong as a writer, a place where you can find like-minded writers seeking to understand the intent of a piece of writing, and to care about your growth as a writer.

I know that struggle; I’ve lived it. I’ve found the solution and I’m so excited to share it with you. And it’s coming. I’ve been working on this project for nearly two years, and the moment has finally arrived. (I can’t believe it!)

But first, as promised, I want to deliver on the promise I made yesterday: one of my most successful writing prompts.

Writers have gotten a lot of value from this one over the years, and I’m sure you will too. I’d love to hear about the progress you’ve made and how it opens doors for you.

But what’s missing? The community, the feedback– that’s what a writing group is for. That’s why we get together with other writers who are looking to spark their creativity too, who understand how to give the kind of feedback that draws out your best writer, and who care about you reaching your potential as a writer. It’s the most important part– and you don’t want to miss it.

This is the kind of feedback that can transform you as a writer, and send your fingers flying over the keyboard– as happened to Shannara in the story I told you last week (LINK) It’s the kind of feedback that gets novels finished and papers turned in. It’s the kind of feedback that transforms you.

In my next email, I’ll be sending you some opportunities to experience that kind of transformation in your writing. Be sure to check it out if you’re ready to move from frustration to fingers-flying writing joy.
