What To Do When the Power Goes Out
OR
How I organized my writing life
By Annalisa Parent www.annalisaparent.com
I was in the middle of revising the first three chapters of my first novel for the agent pitch session this weekend –scratch that: tomorrow!– when my computer died. Just shut off! Mid-sentence. Panic!
Fortunately I am a with-it enough kind of a person that I was quickly able to evaluate the problem: power failure. Living on a peninsula, it’s not such an unheard-of experience though it’s rarer in these hot summer days than in the ice storms of winter.
But, come on! No computer means no editing. (Did I mention I am meeting with an agent tomorrow?) What to do?
